Join us this Summer for the Festival of fashion, food and fun here at Braehead from the 7 to the 30 of July.
The event will take place daily in the central atrium from 11am to 4pm with heaps of FREE activities for your little ones.

Funk up your old clothes and bags with a fresh new design or if you’re brave enough to have a go!

Sustainable key chains
Macrame key chains are the perfect accessory for school bags or for those older teens with keys.
Let your personality shine and create your very own key chain made from sustainable cotton.
Grow your own garden.
Let’s get those green fingers working. Bring along an old egg box and we will show how to create a blooming garden to take home.

Sunflower cupcakes
Beautiful and bright sunflowers just scream summer. With delicious chocolate cupcakes, little bakers can have a go at making a scrumptious sunflower cupcake ready to take home.
Flowerbombs
Summer is in bloom, let our team teach you the art of flower bombs. Then take them away and watch them grow. Don’t forget to tag us @Braeheadcentre when they come to life, we can’t wait to see your colourful pics.
Create with cardboard
Join us for the most epic build ever. Let your kids’ imaginations flourish and create a crazy cardboard landscape! Do you think you can create a mini-Glasgow or Braehead in cardboard? What landmarks would you like to see?
- Bring along your own recycled cardboard home/street/school/landmark and we will add it to our final creation.
Bee- Kind workshops
It’s all about bee-ing kind to our wildlife this summer. Come along to our BEE-Kind workshops and learn more about wildflowers and how to create your own wildflower patch at home.
Sports day
Hoop, swoop, and score at our pop-up festival of fun sports day.
Street dance
Get ready to bust a move at our Street Dance school, a key part of any festival is turning up and getting down!
As well as the above events we will host the following every day from 11am – 4pm

- Photo opportunities
Adults must always accompany children in our festival area, parents can relax and take in the festival vibes on our benches throughout the space.
Clothes Banks
This summer we have teamed up with CHAS and are taking donations for their clothes bank, they’re always in need of high-quality preloved ladies, gents and children’s clothing and accessories to help keep their shops full. 100% of all profits made in their shops help keep the joy alive for children and families all across Scotland.
