Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity – Easter Egg Run

Sunday 9 April [Easter Sunday]

From 11am

For more than four decades, thousands of families have enjoyed this incredible event where hundreds of bikers ride through the streets of Glasgow in a mile-long convoy of colour, noise, and smiles in support of our young patients.

If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast then we’d love for you to join us for this special event. There is no registration fee but the charity asks every biker to make a suggested donation of £10 on arrival to support their young patients at the hospital.

The Easter Egg Run will start at Greendyke Street, round to Saltmarket and onto Clyde Street before progressing along the Broomielaw and over the Squinty Bridge. The bikes will then make their way down Govan Road to the Royal Hospital for Children where the children and their families will be able to witness the impressive convoy! After leaving Hospital Boulevard it will turn onto Hardgate Road, before going down Shieldhall Road and onto Kings Inch Drive, finishing up at Braehead Shopping Centre Car Park next to Krispy Kreme.

No bike? Join us at Braehead Shopping Centre (near Next Home) from 11am and welcome the parade as they approach the finish point where we’ll have a family fun day
