Scotland’s longest-running dance music festival is back on Saturday, September 11th with some of the biggest names in dance music for a MASSIVE 20th Anniversary outdoor show which will take place at the Braehead Waterfront.

Coloursfest Outdoor 2021 will take over the Braehead Waterfront with the main stage which is headlined by the globally renowned Scooter and EDM’s man of the moment Ben Nicky, and a Local Heroes tent showcasing the freshest homegrown talent. The return of Coloursfest has been eagerly anticipated by both fans and artists following its cancellation and rescheduling due to COVID.

Ben Nicky said: “Colours has been a massive part of my career and journey in Scotland. To come to Coloursfest again to now headline the festival with Scooter is a dream come true and the Scottish crowd is something that you just can’t explain. Bring it on!”

The main stage headliners will be joined by some of the biggest names in dance music including Brennan Heart, Angerfist, Will Atkinson and GBX frontman George Bowie.

George Bowie said: “I am absolutely buzzing to be back out playing gigs. Coloursfest is always a highlight of the festival season and a big part of that is the amazing crowd who are always so up for it. I can’t wait to get back behind the decks!”

Like many events, Coloursfest has had to be adapted to operate within the Governments COVID-19 guidance. Colours Promoter Ricky Magowan said: “We are delighted that Coloursfest 2021 is able to go ahead, albeit in a slightly different format to previous years. The Government’s guidelines meant we had to move the festival from our usual home of Braehead Arena to the outdoor area at the Braehead Waterfront, this will be our first outdoor show for Coloursfest and we’re confident the artists and fans will love it. It’s been a challenge to get the event over the line but rescheduling again wasn’t an option, too many people were looking forward to having a dance!”

Coloursfest takes place on Saturday, September 11th at Braehead Waterfront from 12pm – 11pm. Tickets are available via Skiddle and Tickets Scotland. For full lineup and event information see https://www.facebook.com/coloursfanpage
