Random acts of kindness week – 15 – 19 February

Right now is the perfect time to spread some kindness and show those around you that you care and are thinking of them.

Lockdown 3.0 has been so much harder and we know many people are finding it much more challenging that previous lockdowns. So why not take a minute to show a friend, family member or colleague that you care.

Here are our suggestions on what you could do.

watch a film at the same time as a friend and video call. Don't forget the snacks Tell a friend, family member or colleauge you're proud of them and appreciate them. send someone you know a picture of a cute animal. We recommend a Panda pic, everyone loves a Panda

If you would rather speak to someone than trawl the internet, give the NHS 24 Mental Health Hub a call on 111 or call the Samaritans on 116 123. Both are free to all and lines are open 24/7.

Treat someone to a special delivery, maybe a gift, coffee or take away send a friend a joke, gif or meme to make them smile and let them know you are thinking about them make someone you live with a cup of tea or help out with a chore.
