Braehead operates the SKATE UK and SKATE UK STAR programmes - both courses are approved by the national Ice Skating Association and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
SKATE UK: this programme is designed for people who are new to skating, as well as those looking to develop their skills. So whether you're a beginner starting at Grade 1, or you're progressing up to Grade 10, you'll fit right in. And it caters to all styles of skating from recreational, to figure and ice hockey.
The cost for Grades 1 - 10 classes is £40.00. This includes 6 x 20 minute lessons with a test and re-enrolment on the 7th week.
SKATE UK STAR: this is a more advanced programme and has three levels of training - Bronze, Silver and Gold.
The cost for Skate UK Star (Bronze, Silver and Gold) is £45.00.
Skate hire (if required) and practise time (where possible) is included in the cost. A certificate of achievement will be awarded as each grade is attained.
To enrol for skating lessons please visit the skating box office from 12-5pm Monday to Friday, or 10am-2pm on Saturdays. The skating box office is closed on Sundays.
