Car Parking

With 6,500 free parking spaces, you'll always find a safe place to leave your car at Braehead.

There are six car parks in all, three open plan and three multi-storeys. To simplify things we've colour-coded them into greenred and blue areas. And because we know some people prefer multi-storeys while others prefer open plan, we've also given you the choice of both in each area.

All our car parks have been given secure car parks awards. We also have mobile car park assistants who are on hand in case you need them, and help points located throughout.

The locations of all our car parks are shown on our location map.

Disabled parking
We have 650 spaces reserved especially for disabled shoppers across all our car parks.

Parent and child parking
We want to do everything we can to help make your visit an enjoyable one. That's why we have dedicated parent and child parking bays on level 2A of the blue car park.

New parking rules at Braehead
Braehead has launched a scheme to issue drivers who park in spaces reserved for disabled people, with a civil penalty notice. This means that anyone parking in one of the 387 clearly-marked disabled spaces without a valid disabled badge will be charged £60. This will be reduced to £30 if paid within ten days.

The Braehead car parks are patrolled and charges enforced by a private company, Town and City Parking who are DVLA and BPA approved. Drivers who fail to pay the Civil Penalty Notice will be traced via DVLA and pursued for payment. People who park on double yellow lines in the centre's car parks will also be liable to a £60 fine.

Free electric vehicle charging points
You can recharge your electric car free of charge at Braehead, while you shop. There are two recharging points situated on level 1A of the blue multi-storey car park. Cables and keys are available from our Shopmobility service, which is also in the blue car park. You will need a £10 deposit and photographic identification.
