Voyages aboard its fleet of vessels provide a unique environment for young people’s development. They are a lot of fun too.

Braehead is supporting OYT Scotland’s Young Leader Development Programme. This three year partnership will enable 36 young people to complete leadership training and go on to become volunteer watch leaders, supporting hundreds more young people throughout Scotland.

Part of the training is a special challenge voyage that’s sure to be the adventure of their lifetime. In 2009 they’ll sail over the north Atlantic to Iceland aboard Alba Explorer, one of the trust’s 3 ocean-going 70’ yachts
